Century Health Systems Launches New Websites
Natick, Mass. - (November 26, 2012) – Century Health Systems, parent company of The Natick Visiting Nurse Association (Natick VNA) and New Century Homecare Services (New Century), today announced that it and its affiliates have launched new websites.
The websites offer an enhanced experience for users, who will be able to access resource libraries with local, regional and national information; review community class schedules and register for classes; read the latest agency news; and utilize knowledge about maintaining one’s health and that of their loved ones. The websites’ enhanced donation process will enable users to gift home care services to a loved one directly through the sites.
“We designed the websites with our users in mind and believe they will appreciate the valuable information we present therein,” said Wendy Cofran, CIO, Century Health Systems. “Although the three agencies have separate website addresses, they are all accessible from each other and very easily navigable.”
Judith Boyko, MBA, MS, RN, CEO of Century Health Systems and Natick VNA, added that the ease of use between all sites mimics the continuum of care offered by the agencies. “Our community health and wellness education programs are offered through Century Health Systems. When patients are recovering in their homes and need acute care, the Natick VNA is able to help them. For those who need ongoing support and may be managing a chronic illness, New Century offers the home health care they need,” she said.
“Our websites offer one-stop-shopping for information relating to our service offerings, general health-related information and local resources,” Boyko added.
The three agencies have also announed their foray into social media. Each has a Facebook and Twitter profile so that individuals and families can stay up-to-date on the latest news and events from the agencies as well as stay informed about issues facing the home care and health education industries.
Facebook groups are Natick Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), Century Health Systems, and New Century Homecare Services. Twitter profiles are Natick VNA, Century Health Sys, and New Century Homecare.
