Learn to Knit at the Sherborn Library

Starting on Thursday, April 12th from 6:45 -8:45 p.m., the Sherborn Library continues a series of knitting workshops for adults and older teens (16 years old and up) with expert knitter, Becky Geer-Linnell.   Additional workshops will be held on April 12th, 26th and  May 3rd at the same time.  Participants are welcome to join any or all of the sessions.

Knitting warm, comfortable, attractive projects is calming to the mind and soothing to the spirit (and fun!). This class covers needles, yarns and basic stitches with lots of time to practice, ask questions and discover the joy of this ancient craft.

Materials needed for this workshop are size 8 straight needles and one skein of worsted or medium weight yarn.   Students can provide their own materials or arrange in advance with the Library to purchase necessary supplies.

To register for this workshop, or for more information, call Donna Bryant, Public Services Librarian, at by telephone at 508.653.0770 or email referencelibrarian@comcast.net.
