Paul DeRensis, a six term Sherborn selectman, was named in November 2012 as one of 2012’s New England Super Lawyers along with two other members of his firm, Deutsch Williams Brooks DeRensis & Holland, P.C.
Mr. DeRensis’ practice is concentrated in the area of municipal law, and he was one of only eleven lawyers in New England, seven from Massachusetts, given recognition as a Super Lawyer in the government/cities/municipalities law area throughout the entire six state New England region. Mr. DeRensis has achieved recognition as a government/cities/municipalities “super lawyer” eight times, in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and now 2012.
Mr. DeRensis is currently in his sixteenth year serving the Town of Sherborn as one of its selectman. Mr. DeRensis is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts and in various federal courts including the United States Supreme Court. As an attorney, he serves as Town Counsel to a number of Massachusetts municipalities.
