Volunteers  Make A  Difference !

Sherborn Council on Aging  Seeks  Volunteer Coordinator

How do you serve  900+  seniors  with a budget  that is less than 1/2 of 1% of the municipal budget?   The answer is that you rely on the time and talents of the Sherborn community! 

As we applaud the contributions of our Volunteers at our annual Volunteer Luncheon this May, we are in the midst of a search for a Volunteer Coordinator.   The Sherborn  Council on Aging is looking to fill this very important position which links the interests of our resident volunteers with the needs and program requirements   of the Council on Aging.  

The Volunteer Coordinator (VC) develops, coordinates and maintains the COA volunteer network which services the needs of Sherborn’s seniors (drivers, home meal volunteers, special program support, etc.).  The VC  enthusiastically engages  other  community groups to link  service interests of the volunteer participants with COA programs. 

This position does not require much time (5 hours a week) but   it  offers  great rewards  and flexibility.
