On Thursday, November 8th, the Sherborn Garden Club teamed up with the Pine Hill Elementary School CSA for a Plant Anatomy Workshop. The fourth grade class were taught about the diversity and importance of plants in our world through lima bean and flower dissection and diagramming, supermarket vegetable botany, and an observation table laden with plants/herbs/conifers for the students to examine. In addition to local plants, also included in this table was a Venus Flytrap and enormous pinecones from Utah.
