Sherborn Library Announces Upcoming Events

Read To Django, a Certified Therapy Dog

Join us as we welcome Django, a certified therapy dog, to the Sherborn Library on Wednesday, May 9th, 2 pm. Readers in Kindergarten through 3rd grade are invited to sign up to meet Django and read a book to him. Each session will last 10 minutes.

Pre-Registration is required.  Call to register at 508-653-0770 or sign up at the children’s librarian’s desk.

 

Young adult photo collage workshop with artist Ann McCrea

Are you looking for a way to make your bedroom or locker look awesome?

Come to the Sherborn Library on Friday May 11th at 3 pm to make your own photo collage using magazines and your imagination.  Have snacks.

Baby Music Program at the Sherborn Library

Develop a strong musical bond with your baby or toddler. Music educator Lori Anderson York of Little Friends Music will sing songs and have musical instruments for babies and toddlers up to 3 years. This program will take place on Monday, May 14th, 10:30 a.m. at the Sherborn Library. For any questions call Cheryl Ouellette, children’s librarian at

Drop-In Fairy Crafts at the Sherborn Library

Come to a drop-in fairy crafts and storytime on Wednesday, May 30th, 4pm.  Bring your creativity. We will make a fairy kaleidoscope and a fairy wand. This program is recommended for children ages 3 and up. 

 

Storytime at the Sherborn Library

Come to spring storytime for children.

Storytime is on Thursdays, 11am, May 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31st.

It’s also on Friday, 10:30 am, May 4, 11, 18, 25th.

Storytime is recommended for preschoolers ages 2-5. We’ll sing songs, read stories and do crafts.

Mother Goose Baby Lapsit, for babies up to 2 years of age, takes place on Fridays, 10 am, May 4, 11, 18,and 25th.

In this 20 minute program we share rhymes, songs and simple books with babies. We will sing, play games and have fun. Call the Sherborn Library for any questions,
