Dover Police Log: Auto Theft, Animal Complaint and Soliciting

The following information was provided by the Dover Police Department. When arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

 

Monday, October 22

Auto Theft (1:01 p.m.) - A Claybrook Rd. resident called to report that his car was stolen sometime over the weekend.

Animal Complaint (1:40 p.m.) - An Abbott Rd. resident called to report that his neighbor's dog had escaped and knocked over his toddler son. An officer spoke to the caller and the owner of the dog. The Animal Control Officer was notified. There was a by-law violation.

Soliciting (2:16 p.m.) - A party came into the police station to report that they would be soliciting on Stonegate for Verizon.
