Dover Police Log: Dog Bites Man, Gunshots
The following information was provided by the Dover Police Department.
Saturday, Dec. 15
4:31 p.m.: A Strawberry Hill Road resident called police when she became concerned after a gardening club called twice offering to deliver a poinsetta. She thought the delivery might be a ruse to gain access to the house. When police called back later the plant had been delivered.
Sunday, Dec. 16
10:25 a.m.: Officers checked the Mill Street area after receiving reports of gun shots. The area was quiet when police arrived.
4:51 p.m.: A caller reported that while delivering a pizza to Miller Hill Road a dog bit his leg and tore his pants. Officers alerted Animal Control.
