Dover Police Log: Suspicious Vehicle & Political Battles

The following information was provided by the Dover Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wednesday, September 12

Worried About Car (12:55 a.m.) - A caller near Walpole St. and Old Farm Rd. reports that there is a car parked there. The caller reports that the car has been sitting there with its lights on for about five minutes, and she is worried about it. An officer reports in to say that he is the person in the parked car.

Political Battles (8:58 a.m.) - A resident in the area of Sage Farm and Dedham St. reports that they were concerned over a phone message left by an irate woman over a political campaign sign displayed in their yard. There was no threat made, but the resident wanted it on the record.

Vandalism (6:12 p.m.) - The Boy Scout cabin on Snow Hill was vandalized, including smashed windows.
