- Mass Audubon’s Moose Hill invites you to celebrate Mother's Day with a Nature Walk and pancake breakfast on Sunday, May 13th. Start the morning off with an hour-long, guided nature walk featuring singing birds, peeping frogs, buzzing bugs and more. Return for a hearty pancake breakfast and leave with a “take home craft bag” for children to make for Moms when they get home. This event is great for children ages 3 and over. Four tours are available at 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 10 a.m. Fee is Adults $8.00m/ $10.00nm, Children $8.00m/ $10.00nm. Pre-registration required as space is limited. - The Blue Bunny located at 577 High St., in Dedham Square will celebrate National Children's Book Week with a visit from author-illustrator Emily Redmond on Friday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m. Emily will be reading her book The Unruly Queen and doing a "make-your-own-crown" craft for kids. Cookies and milk for all kids in pajamas or "royal" attire. All ages welcome. Admission is Free.
- Belkin Family Lookout Farm located at 89 Pleasant St., Natick will hosts their season-opening weekend celebration on Sat., May 12th and Sunday May 13th from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Take an excursion on the Farm’s famous train, ride through the orchards of fruit trees, visit the Children’s Play Area, take a turn on the moon bounce, visit the farm animals, and find your way through the burlap maze. PLUS there’ll be face painting, caterpillar rides, and LIVE children’s entertainment with shows featuring Mike the Music Man! Admission is $8.00 per person.
- Medfield Public Library invites children in grades 1-5 to learn Spanish through games, activities and Spanish food led by MHS student Evan Berry. This event will be held on Saturday, May 12 at 3:30 p.m. Please register for this free HERE or call the library at 508-359-4544 x8014.
