On Thursday, August 16th, 2012, U.S. Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney and his wife Ann Romney visited Sherborn. At a reception at the home of Paul and Kim Dacier here in Sherborn, Governor Romney addressed the crowd, then mingled with the attendees. Ann Romney also spoke. Close security was provided by the U. S. Secret Service, Massachusetts State Police, and the Sherborn Police Department under Chief Thompson.
