Tell Us: What Restaurant is Missing?

What type of food would you like to see?

Mexican, Italian and burgers are some of the offerings. But with so many vacant storefronts and buidlings, now is the time to think about what we want.

So we want to know, what type of food or restaurant is currently missing?

Let us know in the comments section.

Try "Welcome" in Framingham -- not much to look at from the outside, but the food is wonderful.

Natick needs a very high end italian restaurant and a high end sushi restaurant like Oiyshee. With the closing of Feng Shui, I hope they put another very very good asian restaurant there.

My family and I have been saying for years that Westborough needs a French restaurant, be it fine dining or more of a bistro. Someone buy the 1790 and make my dreams come true!

I don’t have much money for dining out as it is, and I’m afraid my taxes and health care costs are going up after the first of the year. So unless it’s a hot dog stand or taco truck, I think I’ll keep cooking for the family at home.

A Jewish deli like Joan & Ed's. Greek food like the Aegean in Framingham. A salad bar chain like the ones they have in CA. A clam shack.

Layla - try Zaftig's for Jewish deli deliciousness! They make a lot of their stuff from scratch and you can tell - their chicken salad is the best around and it's $2 less than the crappy stuff in the supermarket!

Todd - if you don't mind a quick jaunt off 495 on 20 in Northborough, Texas BBQ in Northborough is SERIOUSLY good! All their meats are smoked for ages and they are all so tender and juicy......you add the sauce as you like it. Sides and cocktails are TDF too. Small place so go early but WELL worth the trip!

We need a pub downtown that people can walk to! Thai or Indian would be nice. Finally, an inexpensive but good taco/burrito takeout place is a great idea!

We have plenty of restaurants and eating places.
What we need is a good cake pastry shop with good coffee, WI-FI and ample seating and parking.

Indian! We have to drive to Shrewbury or Waltham for a decent Tikka Masala. If not Indian, then something a little more diverse than another pizza parlor/Chinese restaurant please.

I'd like to see a german restaurant where they serve the dark ember beer and you get to throw peanut shells on the ground and also where they play Charlie Chan movies and other silent movies of the old days.

I don't necessarily want an Indian restaurant because they all eventually suck anyway. There isn't one good Indian restaurant in the entire Greater Boston area. I think they start out offering reasonably good food and then they regress to a level that's just unacceptably bad for me. NYC has a few good ones, but the best ones outside India are probably in London.

Vietnamese restaurant!! There are NONE closer than Millis or Worcester. It's lighter than Chinese-American & emphasizes lots of fresh veggies, lighter sauces & very lean meats & seafood= healthy & delicious!

A casual/sports bar in downtown Northborough. I know, I know. Young, non-tied-down-to-a-family-types isn't exactly the town's main demographic, but it would be nice. Until then, beer and pizza and my own big screen TV. but some nights, you don't feel like the effort, you know?

tonight for example. UMass football is on at 7, and i'd love to not have to cook and/or clean up.

Rasoi in Framingham has seriously good Chicken Tikka Masala and their papadams are always super fresh. Hubs likes their hot curries a LOT and they have lots of good vegetarian choices. For pizza, we LOVE Anastasia's - SUPER fresh and they DELIVER!
