James H. Foster of Centerville, formerly of Dover, died on September 16. He was the beloved husband of Jeannette (Hagan) Foster for 57 years, and the devoted father of Jean Foster of Northboro. He was a retired painting contractor and also a Korea Air Force War veteran.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave. (Exit 19B off 128) NEEDHAM Friday at 10AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 11AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8PM. Interment Highland Cemetery, Dover.

John G. Wicks, Jr., a longtime Sherborn resident, died on September 5. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth “Betty ”(Wry) Wicks, and the father of Ainslee Wicks of Sherborn, Christopher Wicks and his wife Judith of Lakeville, and Grandfather of Cameron Wicks and his wife Andrea of Lansdale, PA. He was the brother of the late Alvin M. Wicks and Lois W Campbell and Uncle of several nieces and nephews.
After graduating from high school, John served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He later graduated from Babson College and became an accountant.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of John’s life on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. (at Natick Common) Natick. The Wicks family will receive visitors for 2 hours prior to the service.
