DESCRIPTION:Saint Dunstan's Episcopal Church began in 1965 following a di
 ocesan survey of Episcopalians living in Dover and Sherborn. Endorsed by
  the then bishop\, The Right Reverend Anson Phelps Stokes\, plans began 
 to move ahead and worship services started in the summer of 1967. In Sep
 tember of that year\, The Reverend Donald Winslow was appointed the supp
 ly priest to the newest mission of the diocese. In addition\, after disc
 ussions with The Dover Church\, it was agreed that the mission would ren
 t space from its neighbor. This agreement solidified an important aspect
  of our corporate life\, taking to heart ecumenical relations in carryin
 g out ministry in and to the community. This practice of maintaining str
 ong ecumenical ties continues to shape and foster our mission and minist
 ry.
