Today in Dover-Sherborn: Stories and Scarves at the Library, and More

Five things you need to know about September 4 in Needham, Dover and Sherborn.

1. Bright, sunny, warm day, according to the National Weather Service, a high of 81ºF and sunny skies are to be expected today. Tonight, increasing clouds and a dip to 59ºF.

2. If you're here, you probably like Needham Patch. Do you like us on FacebookHow about on Twitter? Follow us on our social networks, and we'll make sure to keep you in the loop about what's going on in town.

3. 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, sharpen your knitting needles (or dull them, if that's better for knitting) and head to the Sherborn Library. They are starting a class for beginner or intermediate knitters--you have burning questions about yarn, they have answers. Head over to knit wittily.

4. Drop in for Drop-In Story Time at Needham Public Library. 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Join the Library team for music, movement and stories for about a half-hour. You should stick around, though--they want all of the kids to be accompanied by an adult.

5. Erin's School of Dance in Dover (who are also grateful for fan support in recently being named a Hometown Best and a Readers Choice #1) are holding an Open House for registration this week. Wednesday at 4 p.m., stop by to register for classes or just check the place out.
