Sherborn Student Receives Ballet Company Scholarship

Dancing Arts Center is proud to congratulate Sherborn resident, Jessica Lynch, on receiving a dance scholarship for this summer.

Next Generation Ballet, in Tampa, Florida, offered Sherborn resident, Jessica Lynch a scholarship for the June through August session. Next Generation Ballet is under the direction of Peter Stark and part of the Straz Center for the Performing Arts.  It prepares dancers for professional employment through instruction, coaching and performance opportunities. NGB performers have been awarded scholarship opportunities at leading ballet schools worldwide, including the Royal Ballet School of England and The School of American Ballet.

“We are proud of Jessica for her latest achievements and wish her the best this summer. We look forward to having her share her experiences during these terrific dance opportunities,” says DAC Co-Director Gregg Saulnier.

Dancing Arts Center, now celebrating its 35th year, provides world-class instruction in classical ballet, modern dance, improvisation, jazz, and choreography.
