SOUP-ER FAMILY FUN NIGHT
AT THE DOVER LIBRARY
SUNDAY, MARCH 4, 5 - 7:30 P.M.
$5 Per Person/$20 Per Family

Can you win the "Golden Ladle"?  The Friends of the Library are hosting a family "fun"-draising night at the Dover Library with our first ever Chili/Soup-off on Sunday, March 4, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Chefs of all ages are invited to submit their hearty soup to the contest, and the people will decide by popular vote who is the "Golden Ladle" recipient! In addition to amateur chef and junior chef categories, we are also inviting local restaurants to submit entries for the professional category.

Not a chef? Then come be a taster! We'll have fun activities for the kids and the evening will also showcase what's new at the library, as well as celebrate the recent recognition awarded to our library and its director. We will also have a tile workshop area - it is not too late to add yours to the beautiful wall!

Participating restaurants are: Captain Marden's, Chiara, Dover Cafe, Dover Market, Owens Poultry Farm and The Sherborn Inn. At present date, we also have soups coming from the Center for the Development of Children, Dover Nursery School and Precious
Beginnings Preschool
, as well as several amateur chefs in town.

Tickets will be $5 per person or $20 per family at the door. Come for fun and to help pick the winners. Each person will get one vote per category.

If you'd like to submit a soup/chili, please email info@friendsofdoverlibrary.com for an entry form and to
pre-register. Please see full rules on the Friends' web site - www.friendsofdoverlibrary.com. There is no cost to enter a
soup/chili.
