Bedtime Stories, Comedy & Halloween Festivals are on the agenda for this weekend.

  • Barnes and Noble in the Walpole Mall will hold a special Bedtime Storytime on Fri., Nov. 4 at 10:30 a.m. Enjoy bedtime stories including Pajama Time by Sandra Boynton.  Admission is FREE.
  • The Sherborn Library will host  a concert with musical performer Ed Morgan of The Children’s Garden today at 10:30 a.m. at the , located at 3 Sanger St., Sherborn. Sing along, dance, and have fun with traditional children’s songs.  The concert is recommended for children ages 3 – 8. Admission is free.
  • Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary in Norfolk will hold a Turtle Trekkers Program, Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Join a Stony Brook teacher on the trails and learn about nature.  This fun event will also include crafts, activities and lots of laughter. This month's theme: Lunch for a bear/terrific turkeys!  This program is suited for children of the ages 2.9 to 6 with a parent.  Pre-registration is required for all programs.   • in Dover invites the community to attend a family-friendly comedy performance by ImprovBoston on Sunday, Nov. 6 at  3:00 p.m.  ImprovBoston's Family Show was the winner of the Nickelodeon award for Best Children's Theatre and is appropriate for all ages. Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5 for children.
  • Due to the unexpected snow storm last weekend, in Sharon has have rescheduled their 2nd Annual Halloween Family Festival to Sunday, Nov. 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A free event for the whole family, there will be pumpkin painting, games, sports, moonwalk, horse drawn hay rides, face painting, rock climbing and an appearance by the Boston Red Sox mascot Wally the Green Monster. Come wearing a costume and ready to have fun. Food and drink will be available to purchase at one of the food truck and cart vendors, like Snappy Dogs.  Admission is FREE.
