Medfield Animal Shelter Trying to Reunite Dog with Family

Found near the Sherborn/Medfield line.

This young male dog was rescued by Medfield Animal Control Officer Jenny Gates after he was hit by a car early in the morning on Dec. 27. He was on Route 27 in Medfield near Hospital Road not far from the Sherborn line, and may have been running for a few days since there had been reports of a loose dog the day before.

After being treated at Tufts Emergency Vet in Walpole, he is now recovering at the Medfield Animal Shelter. He is very scared which is understandable and we would love to reunite him with his owner. He was not wearing a collar and does not have a microchip. His owner should call the Medfield Animal Shelter at 508-359-8989 to claim him. If we are unable to reunite him with his family, he will be available for adoption after January 6th.
