RECIPE: Super Bowl Pound Cake

My Super Bowl cake is made only once a year, but the recipe is pretty good for any day!

Ingredients: (Cake)

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup sour cream

3 eggs

1 pinch baking soda

Handful dried cranberries (or cherries)

(Glaze)

1/2 cup powdered sugar

Dash vanilla

About 2 tablespoons water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour a 8x4 inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add sour cream and eggs. Add flour and pinch of soda, mix well. Add cranberries or cherries for flavor/color. Pour into pan and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
