You can treat yourself to the amazing – and fleeting –
flavor of ripe, locally grown strawberries two ways. Farmer Jim Geoghegan of Sunshine Farm in Sherborn says his strawberries are especially early and juicy this season, so
pick your own is underway.
And you can come to Ashland Farmers Market on Saturday June 9, 9-1, where Sunshine Farm strawberries will share the table with other locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, honey, fish, eggs, meats, cheese, nuts, pasta, sauces, and other specialty foods. Railroad House Band will perform. SNAP matching program available.
The Ashland Farmers Market will run every Saturday – rain or shine - from June 9 to October 20 at 125 Front Street, across from Ashland Public Library. www.ashlandfarmersmarket.org for eblasts, schedule of vendors and live music.
