DOVER-SHERBORN ALUM SET TO PLAY DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING!

Head Coach Dave Wainwright, now in his 5th year of coaching the the DS girls soccer team, mentioned he would like to have the First Annual DSGS Alum game.  Of course, preparations were under way as early as August. The day after Thanksgiving, over 25 ALUM will step foot on the field to meet and greet old team mates and play the current JV/Varsity team.  Class of 2010 Natalie Heffernan will make her way onto the field and put her boots on again to see what she has got to contribute.  Natalie was the center defender for DS.  2011 DSGS grads (Providence College GK) Jessica Goudreault and Alyssa D'Arcy (UMass Forward) have not played together since they have gone to college.  The oldest DS Alum that is going to come is  1985 Graduate Linda Goudreault who was part of the very first team to make states for DS.  "This is going to be very interesting!" quotes, Linda who is visiting family for the holidays with her children and has been asked to make an appearance. JV Head Coach Bob Willey has a daughter that graduated in 2010 Megan Willey will be making an appearance.  We also have a strong active group  from the class of 2012 & 2013: Maddie Dunn, Taylor Coutts, Nadine Cutler, Ellie Melanson, Julia Perlmutter, Victoria Ortega, and the MacMillan sisters.
The DSGS ALUM created a Facebook group and has been actively following the current DSGS all season.  Please come out and support your friends and old team mates.  Most importantly, come have a lot of fun and say hello to Coach Wainwright and Head Coach for JV Bob Willey.
