Change your dental habits: it's possible!

You can have a great smile!

A few years ago, a young patient came to see Dr. Chang; he had a mouthful of cavities and didn't really value the importance of his teeth, at that time.  A few teeth were so damaged that they had to be extracted.  Dr. Chang placed more than 20 fillings, a few crowns and implants.  The hygienists also worked closely with him to instill good home care, and placed him on a regular cleaning schedule to keep his mouth in a healthy condition.   

On his most recent visit, Dr. Chang was impressed when she examined him---a complete change from before: his gums looked great, his oral hygiene had improved, his teeth were clean and taken care of.  The patient responded to her, "I am a grown up now.  I want to take care of myself.  I am worth it."  

This incredible story makes us so glad: that this patient learned to value the health of his teeth and his overall health.  

Habits are hard to change, but no matter your age, with a little bit of hard work and diligence, you can make it happen!
