5 Things: Back to School Night at Chickering

If you live in Dover or Sherborn, here are some things you'll want to know.

1. The will have Back to School Night tonight at 7 p.m. It will begin with the admin. staff doing a 20 minute presentation before parents can go to the classrooms for two 20 minute sessions (so as to accommodate parents with more than one child).

2. A reminder- there will be no school in Dover-Sherborn on Monday, September 17, as it is the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah.

3. Another reminder- there is still time to register to vote for the General Election in November. This is the election that will determine who is the President of the United States for the next four years. There are also several other positions up for grabs, including United States Senator. If you haven't registered to vote yet, or you're not sure if you're registered, contact your town clerk. In Dover, the Town Clerk is Barrie H. Clough, and in Sherborn the Town Clerk is Carole B. Marple.
