Five Things You Need To Know About Today: April 25

1. The following school meetings will take place today:

  • The D-S Middle School Advisory Council will hold a meeting in the Guidance Conference Room at 3:00 p.m. The agenda can be found HERE.
  • The Chickering School Advisory Council will meet in the  Conference Room at 3:30 p.m.

2. The will host three events today:

  • Children are invited to drop in from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to participate in an open art program featuring DIY crafts. Art supplies will be provided.
  • Author Janet Eve Josselyn will be stopping by the Dover Library from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to talk about her book "". 
  • The weekly knitting group will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Living Room upstairs.

3. The cheerleaders will hold a shopping night fundraiser at located at 479 Main St., in Medfield from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event can be used as an opportunity to purchase Mother's Day, graduation and other special occasion gifts at the boutique that features jewelry and accessories. Your purchase will help support the self funded Dover-Sherborn High School cheer team.

4. The boys' and girls' varsity tennis teams will face Ashland today at 3:45 p.m. The girls' team will play at home while the boys' team will play away at Ashland.  The boys' baseball team and the girls' softball team will travel to Ashland for games scheduled at 3:45 p.m.

5. Pine Hill Elementary School will hold a Grade 4 Open House tonight from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
