3. Author Cornelia Gilder will present a special slide lecture on the Berkshire 'cottages" at the Sherborn Library at 7:00 p.m.  Built during the Gilded Age (1870-1930), these magnificent estates served as summer homes for wealthy industrialists and the country’s social elite.   Seeking respite from the city life of Boston and New York, families such as the Vanderbilts, Carnegies, Morgans were also attracted to the bucolic Berkshires by its prestigious literary and artistic colony. This program is co-sponsored by the Sherborn Historical Society.

4. will hold a meeting for all Baseball Players today at 2:30 p.m. in Coach Ryan’s Room (Room 204). Everyone who plans to play Freshman, JV, or Varsity Baseball this spring should attend.

5. The Sherborn Council on Aging will hold a Holiday Potluck Lunch Party for this week's Drop-In Lunch Program. Popular musician and educator, Jack Craig, will share stories about our holiday musical favorites and invite you to a sing along. The holiday party will be held at the , 25 S. Main Street in Sherborn from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The suggested donation for Pilgrim Church Drop-In Lunch program is $2.00. Please call the Council of Aging at 508-651-7858 to reserve your spot, or to request a ride.
