 1. Today is an early release day for Dover-Sherborn HS, Middle School, Chickering Elementary School and Pine Hill Elementary School.

2. The Advisory Council will meet in the Chickering School Conference Room at 3:30 p.m. The meeting agenda can be found HERE.

3. The Senior Lunch Series continues at the this afternoon with lunch and entertainment by Bunaparte, "New England’s hottest magician". The luncheon costs $25 and will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

4. The will host a variety of events today.

• Children of all ages are invited to stop by the library for stories and crafts about Prince and Princess from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All ages are invited to this drop in Program - no registration required.

• "The Smurfs" (PG) will be shown on the big screen at 2:00 p.m.

• Larry Dannenberg from College Students will visit the library at 6:00 p.m. to present a program on the ins and outs of the college search.

5. The Sherborn Lions Club will hold their monthly dinner meeting tonight at the at 6:30 p.m. Sherborn Lion Andrea Crossman will speak about genealogy. The former state genealogist for the DAR, Andrea will share tips and examples on finding your ancestors. Guests/newcomers are welcome! The price for dinner is $22.00.

Bonus: Raiders games -  The boys' and girls' varsity alpine skiing teams will travel to the Blue Hills Ski Area in Canton to compete at the MBSLE Races at a time to be determined. The girls' and boys' varsity XC skiing teams travel to compete at the MBSLE Sprints at the Weston Ski Track in Weston at 3:30 p.m.  The boys' varsity ice hockey team will play Holliston at Chase Arena in Natick at 7:40 p.m.
