Five Things You Need To Know About Today: Feb. 2

Be sure to check here daily for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn today.

1. In Sherborn today, the following meetings will be held at the : The Board of Selectmen will meet at 7:00 p.m. The meeting agenda can be found HERE. The Conservation Commission will also meet at 7:00 p.m. The meeting agenda can be found HERE.

2. The will hold a few events today.

  • The "preschool fun" program for children will run from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Bring your preschooler to the Community Room to have some fun with toys, instruments, and balls provided by the library. This is a free drop-in program and no registration is required.
  • Physical therapist Deborah Lavin Strzetelski will hold a presentation about balance and preventing falls from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of how to prevent falls and maintain safety in daily life.

3. The Sherborn Library will hold a storytime about winter today at 11:00 a.m. Bring your preschoolers ages 2-5 to the library for songs, stories and simple crafts.

4. The boys' and girls' varsity alpine skiing teams travel to Ward Hill in Shrewsbury to compete at the MBSLE Races at 6:30 p.m.

5. Sherborn seniors are invited to attend an "Exercise with Linda" session at the Saint Theresa Church at 9:15 a.m. A $3.00 donation per class is suggested.
