Five Things You Need To Know About Today: Feb. 24

1. In Sherborn today, the Board of Selectmen will meet at the at 8:15 a.m.

2. The will host Fancy Nancy Storytime today from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Children are invited to come dressed in their fanciest outfits and listen to the latest Fancy Nancy book as well as some favorite Fancy Nancy tales! There will also be a special craft too.

3. The Dover Council on Aging will hold a few events for Seniors at the Fireside Room today. Senior Coffee Hour will be held at 8:00 a.m. In the afternoon, a free blood pressure clinic will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed by afternoon tea at 1:30 p.m. All seniors are invited to enjoy coffee, tea and conversation. No reservations needed.

4. Registration for the 2012 spring Dover-Sherborn Youth Baseball and Softball season coses today, Feb. 24.  All interested boys and girls in grades 1-8 are invited to participate. Parents can go to the DSYBS website to register and find out more information about the baseball and softball programs.

5. Tickets are now available for a fashion show which will be held at on Sunday, March 4 at 4pm. The fashion show will feature the collection of Lyn Evan/Potpourri Designs and will be held in the parish center. Tickets are $25.00 are are available at the parish office. All proceeds will benefit St. Theresa Parish.
