1. In Dover today, the following meetings will take place at the . The Warrant Committee, whose meeting agenda can be found HERE,  will meet at 7:00 p.m. The Planning Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. The meeting agenda can be found HERE.

2. Django, a certified therapy dog, will visit the Sherborn Library today at 4 pm. Readers in Kindergarten through 3rd grade are invited to sign up to meet Django and read a book to him. Each session will last 10 minutes.  Pre-Registration is required. Call to register at 508-653-0770 or sign up at the children’s librarian’s desk.

3. The Sherborn COA Lifetime Learning Classes continues with "Shake, Rattle and Roll: Elvis Presley in 1950s America". Elena Creef, Associate Professor of Women's & Gender Studies at Wellesley College, will present on the early career of Elvis Presley as a unique window for the study of postwar popular American culture. She will look at the blending of African American and other forms of musical style in Presley’s music across a sampling of his films and television performances, and will evaluate Presley’s lasting impact as a icon in American cultural history. This class will be offered in 2 sessions, Feb. 29th and March 7 from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the . The cost for both sessions is $20.00.

  • Children of all ages are invited to stop by the library for stories and crafts about Balloons from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • The weekly knitting group will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Living Room upstairs.
  • A "Creating Textiles with Adinkra Symbols" interactive workshop will be held today from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This multicultural program offers hands on learning experience combining textile, culture and art. Workshop participants will learn the historical meaning and pronunciation of traditional Adinkra symbols, each with its own unique meaning and how these symbols are transferred to textile by the Ashanti people of Ghana.  This workshop is open to all ages.
