Five Things You Need To Know About Today: July 27

Be sure to check here daily for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn today.

3. The Dover Library will hold several events today:

  • There will be a FREE  in the Community Room today at 10:00 a.m. This program is open to all ages. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing, bring water and two beach towels. 
  • The event for children will take place today from 10:30 am - 12 pm.  Children are invited to climb on the trucks from the Highway Department. 
  • Teens and Tweens are invited to stop by the library at 6:00 p.m. to receive a . This event is open to tweens and teens grades 6-12. 

4. The Sherborn Library will hold a FREE for children ages 5+ at 3:00 pm.

5. All are welcomed to the  in Sherborn at 10:00 a.m. to attend a public address by : "What are the Things that Make for Peace? Building Peace in the Midst of the Palestinian/Israeli Conflict." Archbishop Elias Chacour, Leader of the Melkite Catholic Church of Akko, Haifa, Nazareth, and All Galilee, is a three-time nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize, and winner of the World Methodist Peace Award, the Niwano Peace Prize, and was Rotary’s Man of the Year in Israel in 2000. A luncheon will follow and a free-will offering will be received to support the Peace-Building work of Archbishop Chacour.
