Five Things You Need To Know About Today: March 28

Be sure to check here daily for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn today.

1. Today is the last day to turn in election papers in Dover for the upcoming elections. Currently no one is running for the open position on the Cemetery Commission or Dover-Sherborn Regional School Committee. Those planning on running must fill out papers and get 30 signatures from registered voters in to the Town Clerk's office by 1:00 p.m. today.

2. The Charles River School is back open after a two-week break for spring vacation. Seventh and eighth graders will be headed to the Museum of Science in Boston from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

3. In Sherborn, the Advisory Committee will convene their public hearing on the 2011 warrant final schedule at 7:00 p.m. at the . Still to be reviewed are articles that include traffic on Western Avenue, surveillance cameras, a Department of Revenue study, and the use of free cash to reduce the tax rate.

4. At the Dover Town Library today will be Evening Storytime with the theme being spring. Kids can enjoy books about spring followed by a craft from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Afterwards the Teen Gaming Group will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

5. The D-S boys varsity tennis team will be a Xaverian Brothers High School for a scrimmage today starting at 6:30 p.m.
