1. Today is Rosh Hashanah, the first day of the Jewish New Year.

2. All public schools in the Dover-Sherborn School District will be closed today in observance of Rosh Hashanah. There will also be no after school activities such as sports games.

3. In Sherborn today, the Board of Selectmen will meet at the at 7:00 p.m. The meeting agenda can be found HERE.

4. The will hold a variety of events today:

  • The "" program will run from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Bring your preschooler to the community room to have some fun with toys, instruments, and balls provided by the library. This is a free drop-in program & no registration is required.
  • Stop by for weekly Tea from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Reading Room. All are invited to enjoy tea and refreshments.
  • Children are invited to drop in from 4pm - 5 pm to participate in an open art program featuring DIY crafts.

5. The Sherborn Library will hold a Program at 11:00 a.m. today. Storytime is recommended for preschoolers ages 2-5 and wil include songs, stories and simple crafts.
