Five Things You Need To Know This Weekend: Dec. 3 and Dec. 4

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. The Friends of the Council on Aging will be holding a Holiday Baazar on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sherborn Community Center.

2. The boys varsity hockey team will have an away scrimmage at Foxborough High School on Saturday at beginning at 8:10 p.m. On Sunday, the boys JV ice hockey team will play Tri-County Tech at home at 7:20 p.m.

3. The Dover-Sherborn Drama Program is proud to present the tale as old as time "Beauty and the Beast". Performances will be held at the Mudge Auditorium on: Dec.1, 2, & 3 at 7:30 pm with a matinee performance on Dec. 3 at 1:00 pm. Tickets are $15 and are available at the Dover Market, Dover Deli, Eaton’s Walgreens, at the door or online at ticketstage.com.

4. Take out your stretchy pants and yoga mats for yoga at Unity Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Area Church at First Parish in Sherborn on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

5. Ever think your kids could learn Chinese in Dover? The Dover Town Library is teaching Mandarin Chinese through music, songs, and games for kids of almost all ages! The program is free and no registration is required. There are two sessions on Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 for kids ages 6-months to 4-years-olds; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 8-year-olds to 12-year-olds.
