Five Things You Need To Know This Weekend: Feb. 12 and 13

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. RED ALERT: Husbands and boyfriends, there are only two days, I repeat, two days left to get something for that special lady in your life for Valentine's Day!!!

2. On Saturday, Sunday, and, of course, Monday the Sherborn Inn will have Valentine's Day Dinner, with pianist Ross Petot performing from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each night. The price for dinner and the live music is $99 per couple. Click here to take a look at the Valentine's menu.

3. Singer/songwriter Ed Morgan a.k.a. the Music Man will be at the Sherborn Library to perform "The Children's Garden" an interactive singalong with traditional and original kid's songs starting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

4. As we near the end of the season and the playoffs approach, this will be another busy weekend for the Raiders. On Saturday night, the girls varsity hockey team will face-off against Canton High School at 8:00 p.m. at home. On tap on Sunday, the girls team will be back in action against Medway at 12:10 p.m. at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough. Starting at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday the girls varsity swim team will be competing in the MIAA south sectionals. The boys varsity hockey team will play against Weston at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the MacDowell Ice Arena in Weston.

5. The Chocolate Cafe fundraiser at the D-S Middle School will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday to support the music, chorus, and bands at the school. The event includes a chocolate buffet and a performance by local bands. $5 per person/ $20 max for families.
