Five Things You Need To Know This Weekend: Jan. 21 and Jan. 22

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. Open Fields Community Theater will be performing their production of 'The Wizard of Oz' on Saturday at the Mudge Auditorium at D-S High School. There will be two shows, a matinee perfomance at 2:00 p.m. and an evening show at 7:30 p.m. For more information and to purchase tickets visit the Open Fields website.

2. The D-S girls' varsity ice hockey team game on Saturday at home at 8:00 p.m. against Oliver Ames HAS BEEN CANCELLED. The boys' varsity ice hockey team will be on the road against Holliston on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. On Sunday, the boys' JV ice hockey team will be away against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School at 12:50 p.m.

3. Take out your stretchy pants and yoga mats for yoga at Unity Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Area Church at First Parish in Sherborn on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

4. Ever think your kids could learn Chinese in Dover? The Dover Town Library is teaching Mandarin Chinese through music, songs, and games for kids of almost all ages! The program is free and no registration is required. There are two sessions on Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 for kids ages 6-months to 4-years-olds; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 8-year-olds to 12-year-olds.
