Five Things You Need to Know This Weekend: June 9-10

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. The #5 Dover-Sherborn (15-6) boys' varsity tennis team will play in the final round of the Div. 3 South Sectional Tournament on Saturday against #1 Martha's Vineyard (18-0). The game will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Old Rochester High School in Mattapoisett, MA.

2. Come Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to get your hands dirty in the Powisset Farm fields, helping them to plant, weed, and harvest, or with a variety of other farm projects. For all ages and skills. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information email Assistant Farm Manager, Molly Fogleman at mfogleman@ttor.org.

3. The Boston Celtics will play the Miami Heat in game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals Saturday at 8:30 p.m. in Miami. The winner will move on to the NBA finals.

4. Take out your stretchy pants and yoga mats for yoga at Unity Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Area Church at First Parish in Sherborn on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

5. Ever think your kids could learn Chinese in Dover? The Dover Town Library is teaching Mandarin Chinese through music, songs, and games for kids of almost all ages! The program is free and no registration is required. There are two sessions on Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 for kids ages 6-months to 4-years-olds; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 8-year-olds to 12-year-olds.
