Five Things You Need To Know This Weekend: March 26 and 27

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. Dover Spring Clean Up is on Saturday. Dover residents, including groups such as the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and high schoolers providing community services will be joining forces for some town-wide spring cleaning. The organizers for the clean up are Erin Gordon and Amy Wilcox.

2. The Sherborn Fire Department will be having their Firefighter's Ball on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at the Warren Center in Ashland. The event costs $30 per person. 

3. The D-S girls varsity lacrosse team will have a scrimmage at Westborough at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

4. At the will be what people call "Bloody Saturday," an advisory hearing including the Board of Selectmen, Capital Budget Committee, Dover-Sherborn Regional School Committee, and Sherborn School Committee to help to summarize the proposed articles in the town warrant. The meeting will is likely to run all day and possibly into Sunday. In Dover, the Police Chief Search Committee will be meeting at 7:00 a.m. at the and the Conservation Commission will be meeting at 9:00 a.m. at the Dover Town House.

5. Mandarin Chinese lessons continue this weekend at the Dover Town Library. There are three sessions on Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  for kids 6-months-old  to 4-years-old; 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for children 4-years-old to 8-years-old; 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for kids 8-years-old to 12-years-old.
