Five Things You Need To Know This Weekend: Nov. 19 and 20

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. The Sherborn Police Department will be hosting their annual senior Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at church. Chow down on all the fixins' and take a shot at winning their very popular door prizes. All are welcome. For more information contact the Sherborn Police Department at 508-653-2424.

2. The D-S boys and girls cross country teams will be competing in the MIAA All-State Meet at Franklin Park in Boston on Saturday. The girls will start at 11:00 a.m. and the boys will begin at 12:00 p.m.

3. The D-S boys and girls cross country teams will hold their end of the season banquet at the Sherborn Community Center on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

4. Take out your stretchy pants and yoga mats for yoga at Unity Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Area Church at First Parish in Sherborn on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

5. Ever think your kids could learn Chinese in Dover? The Dover Town Library is teaching Mandarin Chinese through music, songs, and games for kids of almost all ages! The program is free and no registration is required. There are two sessions on Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 for kids ages 6-months to 4-years-olds; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 8-year-olds to 12-year-olds.
