Five Things You Need To Know This Weekend: Nov. 5 and 6

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. The Starlight Children's Foundation will be holding their Casino Night at the Sherborn Inn on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy live music, drinks, food, gambling, games, raffles, a silent auction and more. The proceeds will go to local programs and services for families with sick children in need. For tickets and for more information click here.

2. The play "" will be at Dover-Sherborn High School on Saturday for a 2:00 p.m. matinee. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors. Go to www.ticketstage.com, or visit the Dover Deli, the Dover Market, or Walgreens in Sherborn. Tickets will also be available at the door before the show.

3. ImprovBoston will be performing at the Charles River School on Sunday as part of the school's centennial celebration. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children at the door. The show will run from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The show is appropriate for people of all ages. For more information contact Linda Fenton at

4. Take out your stretchy pants and yoga mats for yoga at Unity Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Area Church at First Parish in Sherborn on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

5. Ever think your kids could learn Chinese in Dover? The Dover Town Library is teaching Mandarin Chinese through music, songs, and games for kids of almost all ages! The program is free and no registration is required. There are two sessions on Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 for kids ages 6-months to 4-years-olds; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 8-year-olds to 12-year-olds.
