Five Things You Need To Know This Weekend: Oct. 8 and 9

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. The 1st Annual Pags Memorial Classic to celebrate Alex Paganelli who died in a car accident in December of last year will continue Saturday. There will be a men's and women's lacrosse tournament from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will also be reception dinner at the Elm Bank Horticulture Center Massachusetts Horticultural Society with music by the Barn Dogs beginning at 7:00 p.m. There will be dinner, dancing and a silent auction. Proceeds will go to support the Alex Paganelli Scholarship Fund. For more information click here.

2. The Sherborn Inn will be partnering with the Woodland Theatre Company Saturday and Sunday for their production of "She Loves Me" at 8:00 p.m. The Sherborn Inn will provide a pre-performance meal. Tickets are $25. For more information or to order tickets click here.

3. The Sherborn Peace Abbey will be holding a John Lennon Tribute Concert Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For more information click here.

4. Ever think your kids could learn Chinese in Dover? The Dover Town Library is teaching Mandarin Chinese through music, songs, and games for kids of almost all ages! The program is free and no registration is required. There are two sessions on Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 for kids ages 6-months to 4-years-olds; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 8-year-olds to 12-year-olds.

5. Take out your stretchy pants and yoga mats for yoga at Unity Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Area Church at First Parish in Sherborn on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
