Five Things You Need To Know This Weekend: Sept 17 and 18

Be sure to check here for useful information about what is going on in Dover and Sherborn this weekend.

1. The Sherborn Grange Fair is this Saturday at the Barber Reservation from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Sherborn Grange Fair is a harvest celebration, free to all, which brings the community together to celebrate and appreciate natural and agricultural resources. 

2. The Dover Sherborn Boosters Triathlon is to be held on Sunday, Sept. 18th beginning at 8:00 a.m. The sprint level race is in its seventh year and has become very popular with experienced triathletes and first-timers alike. The race includes a 0.25 mile swim, 14.8 mile bike, and 3.4 mile run.

3. Take out your stretchy pants and yoga mats for yoga at Unity Hall at the Unitarian Universalist Area Church at First Parish in Sherborn on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

4. On Powisset Farm this weekend you can get your hands dirty helping to plant, weed, and harvest as part of their Friends in the Fields on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

5. The 100th Year Square Dance at the Charles River School will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
