Grab & Go Kids Planner: Feb. 3-5

Valentines, Fairs and Crafts are on the agenda for this weekend.

  • , located at 33 George F Willett Pkwy, Nowood will hold their annual Early Childhood Fair on Sat., Feb. 4 from 10:00 a.m - 11:45 a.m. Parents and children are invited to participate in crafts and activities and listen to musician Rick Goldin who will perform in concert at 11:00 a.m.
  • The Dover Town Library teaches Mandarin Chinese every Saturday through music, songs, and games for kids of almost all ages! There are two sessions on Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 for kids ages 6-months to 4-years-olds; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for 4-year-olds to 8-year-olds.  No registration is required and admission is free.
  • Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary will hold a Green Valentines holiday event Sat., Feb. 4 at 2:00 p.m. Children ages 6 and up will use recycled paper to create their own unique, homemade valentines. Valentines for wildlife will also be created. Parents are welcome to stay during this drop off program. Stony Brook is located at 108 North St. in Norfolk.   • The , located at 577 High St., Dedham, will hold a "PLANT A KISS" Book Launch Party on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 11:00 a.m. "Plant a Kiss is a brand new picutre book written by New York Times bestselling author Amy Krouse and illustrated by award- winning Peter H. Reynolds. PLANT A KISS is an epic journey about life, kindness, and giving, where one small act of love blooms into something bigger and more dazzling than Little Miss could have ever imagined. Join Amy and Peter at the party that is sure to be a highlight of the Valentine season.
  • , located at 468 Main St., Medfield, invites children ages 4 to 8 to make eco-friendly crafts with recycled materials with the help of 8th grade Girl Scouts.  This event will be held on Sat., Feb. 4 at 11:00 a.m. Please register for this Free event at the library or by calling 508-359-4544.
