No April Fool's: Snow in Friday's Forecast

National Weather Service says a wintry mix could hit Dover and Sherbron Friday.

For most of the month of March, all signs had been pointing to spring: warmer temperatures,Major League Baseball's Opening Day and high school athletic teams beginning spring practices.

But Mother Nature appears to be keeping us honest as the National Weather Service says snow is likely in the forecast Friday, the first day of April, and that is not an April Fool's joke.

The NWS says Dover and Sherborn are likely to see rain before 1:00 a.m. Thursday night/Friday morning and then rain and snow between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent, according to the NWS and new snow accumulation is expected to be less than a half inch.
