While people out in central Massachusetts were being pounded by deadly tornados, Dover and Sherborn remained relatively unscathed last night.

There were power outages in both towns due to the heavy lightning during last night's storm, but all the power has been restored.

"We got very lucky it seemed to go north and south of us," said Sherborn Police officer Stephen Laquidara. "One tree got hit [by lightning] and I think a pole got hit that knocked the power out."
