Officers Called to Remove Bat From Chimney, Find Duck

The Dover Police Department provided the following information. Patch prints all arrests.

Friday, April 19

2:41 p.m.: A resident requested assistance "removing a bat" from her fireplace. Officers responded and located a duck in the fireplace and removed it. 

8:18 a.m.: A Centre Street resident called 911 after a 97-year-old male was experiencing chest pain. Police and ambulances responded and transported a patient to Beth-Israel Hospital.

6:06 p.m.: A Tisdale Drive resident reported hearing strange noises upstairs. When she looked outside she saw a ladder which was later taken by a person in a white truck. Officers spoke to the person who said work was being done on the building.
