Pet Of The Week: Meet Betty

This week's pet of the week is a pup named Betty.

We placed Betty in a great home in January 2010, but sadly she has been returned to the Shelter due to a change in her family's situation, and is once again in need of a home. Betty is a loving, loyal, and friendly Beagle/Lab mix. Though approximately 10 years old, she has more energy than you might expect, and really enjoys long walks and hikes. She is good with children and adults. Betty is house trained, spayed and up-to-date on her vet care and in very good health. She is affectionate and sweet, and always looks as though she is smiling. Betty is bigger than a Beagle and weighs 46 lbs. She is good with other dogs, and seems to enjoy their company. If you are looking for an easygoing dog that will make a seamless transition to your home, Betty is the dog for you.  Our volunteers are all in love with this sweetheart and would really like to find her a great lifetime home.  Please call the Shelter at 508.359.8989 if you would like to set up an appointment to meet her or fill out an adoption application.
