Pets Of The Week: Meet Alvin and Theodore

This week we have two kitties who have fought through some adversity and are looking for a home.

In May a very sick mother cat was dropped off at the Medfield Animal Shelter. The poor thing was in labor and gave birth to a litter of very small kittens that night. She was too sick to care for them and we didn't know if they would survive. Fortunately the Shelter had a mom cat with a three week old kitten in foster care, and she took in these tiny kittens, cleaned them up, and nursed them as if they were her own. Despite the poor odds of surviving, the kittens have thrived under the care of their adopted mom cat and human foster family. They are now nine weeks old and will be ready for adoption very soon. Alvin and Theodore are very fond of each other and we are committed to placing them as a pair so they can be lifelong friends and playmates. Theodore, the white kitten, was born blind in one eye but he is healthy and playful, and has no idea anything is wrong. We are looking for a special home for our miracle kittens.
