Severe Thunderstorms Could Roll in This Evening

The National Weather Service says severe thundestorms could happen in Dover and Sherborn through 10 p.m. tonight, Aug. 1.

The National Weather Service is warning residents of Massachusetts, including Dover and Sherborn, to be on the lookout for severe weather later today.

Warm temperatures and muggy conditions may stir up strong thunderstorms between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., today. These storms are expected to be accompanied by hail and strong wind.

The high today should be near 90 degrees, and humidity levels are expected to rise throughout the afternoon.

These storms should dissipate after sunset, when the heating of the sun is no longer in effect.

There is also a weaker threat for severe storms on Tuesday.
