Sherborn Residents Can Get Free Transportation To Girl Scout Camp In Ashland

Going to Girl Scout camp is a treasured chance to get out and explore the delights of nature and make friendships that will last a lifetime. Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts is still accepting applications to attend Camp Winnetaska in Ashland.

Girl Scout camp is available for all girls in grades 1 through 12. There is a $12 registration fee for non-Girl Scouts attending camp. Free transportation is provided to day camp registrants.  Camp Winnetaska has bus stops in the following communities: Ashland, Westwood, Medfield, Framingham, Sherborn, Norwood, Walpole, Norfolk, Millis, Franklin, Medway, Holliston, Hopkinton, Natick and Southborough.

Girl Scouts have long been leaders in providing high quality, safe and affordable summer camps throughout the state, and vow to maintain their commitment. Financial assistance and payment plans are available.

Dance Party

Love dancing? Girls will spend the week learning new dances, creating new steps, and sharing their knowledge with other campers!

Art Attack and Art in 3-D

Learn how to make jewelry, mobiles and your own stencils. Spend the week trying new crafts and making art you can wear and display! Learn about art from different time periods or different countries! Spend the week making origami and decorating shirts.

Horse Fan

If you are a first time rider, grab your boots and come meet a horse! You will spend your time at camp learning general horsemanship, stable and tack care, and the basics of riding.
